Today, Bush puts in new rules regarding overtime that will cause many people to work overtime without extra pay and some people to lose hours and pay. This is an attack on the wage and hour law.
The wage and hour law was proposed and passed by Alabama Senator Hugo Black in 1939. It created the weekend, among other things. Before that, workers had no weekends.
Bush, the Republican Party, and their corporate keepers, have declared class warfare on working people. This election can make an enormous difference. Bush and his gang want to roll back every advance working people made in the 20th century.
