Sam Cook and Central Bank Donate to Republican Attack Machine

You have to ask yourself, why on earth would Sam Cook, president of Central Bank whom also owns Jefferson Bank, (Jefferson City) have any possible reason for donating to Roy Blunt's campaign? Roy if you don't know is the Majority House Whip in the United States House of Representatives and Missouri Representative from the Springfield area. More importantly Roy's son, "Baby Blunt" or Matt Blunt is running for Missouri Governor. There were allegations made in Matt Blunts run for Secretary of State that his father bypassed federal election laws and financed his son's entire campaign for Secretary of State.

So ask yourself...Why is Sam Cook and Central Bank donating to Roy Blunt who represents an entirely different district in Missouri? HUMMMMMMMM, perhaps it's in hopes they will sidestep campaign contribution limits. You see once they have reached the maximum contribution amount allowed, they will have to find some other way to launder money into "Baby Blunt's" campaign for Governor.

On August 15, 2003 Mr. Sam Cook also donated a hefty $1000 to Senator Kit Bond, yet another rabid Republican! Wait...He did it again on November 18th and yet again on March 31, 2003. You can bet Mr. Bond probably thanked him personally for his generous contributions! Then get ready for this...On June 13, 2003 he signed away $2000 to George Bush.
